Reception to 55 FFs held in Ctg

Chattogram Bureau :
Chattogram District Council welcomed 55 heroic freedom fighters on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence.
The reception was held at noon on Tuesday (March 23) at the Institution of Engineers in the city.
Heroic freedom fighter and former minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain was the chief guest on the occasion. Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury was the special guest.
Chittagong Zilla Parishad Chairman MA Salam presided over the meeting and Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer (Deputy Secretary) Shabbir Iqbal gave a welcome address.
Conducted by Rabiul Hasan, the meeting was spoken among others by District Council Secretary  Nazrul Islam MP, former Constituent Assembly member Mirza Abu Mansur, wartime BLF commander Bir Muktijoddha Professor Md. Moinuddin Rabiul Hasan, war wounded heroic freedom fighter Enamul Haque Chowdhury and heroic freedom fighter Md. Yunus.
