Seminar on Pediatric Cancer held

Staff Reporter: With an aim to increaseawareness for getting rid from childhood cancer, a seminar on “Pediatric Cancer” was held at an auditorium in Dhaka yesterday.
Lions Clubs International, District-315A1organised the seminar. KaziAkramuddin Ahmed PMGF, Ambassador of Goodwill, Past International Director, Area Leader, Champion 100, LCIF were present as the chief guest.SharminSelimTuli MJF, Chairperson, District Pediatric Cancer, presented the programme.Dr. AKM AmirulMorshedKhasru, Additional Director General (Admin) of Dhaka Medical College presented the keynote paper.
The speakers discussed in detail the primary causes and symptoms of pediatric cancer. They laid emphasis on raising public awareness on the prevention of pediatric cancer.
