On the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence, winter clothes have been distributed among the people of Barisal University. The winter clothes were distributed at the initiative of Barisal University Officers Association.
The program was inaugurated on January 1, 2022 at 12 noon on the ground floor of Administrative Building 1 by the Vice Chancellor of Barisal University Prof. Dr. Md. Sadekul Arefin. After the inauguration, the Vice-Chancellor said that the distribution of these winter clothes will alleviate the grief of the winter victims.
At that time, the Vice-Chancellor called upon the rich people of the society and various social organizations to stand by the helpless people. President of the Officers Association Barisal University Executive Engineer Murshid Abedin presided over the distribution of winter clothes at the University Registrar (O.D.) Prof. Dr. Muhsin Uddin, leaders of the executive council of the Officers Association and leaders of various organizations of the university were present.
