ECNEC okays CCC projects of Tk 2,491 cr

Chattogram Bureau :

Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved a project worth Tk 2,491 crore of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) from 100 per cent  govt  fund.The ECNEC meeting was held  recently  under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.Tajul Islam, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Hasan Mahmud, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed, CCC Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and others took part. Rafiqul Islam, chief engineer of CCC said ECNEC had approved a project worth Tk 2,491 crore. Under this project 69 km road development, 36 feet overbridge, 1 overpass, 14 bridges, 22 culverts, 10 roundabouts will be constructed, a CCC sources said.
