Vaccination to transport workers begins in port city

Chattogram Bureau :

A vaccination program has been inaugurated in Hathazari for the prevention of Covid-19 corona virus by public transport workers. Workers will be vaccinated at 6 terminals including Bahaddarhat, Kadamtali, Shubhapur and Alangkar in phases.
Chattogram Road Transport Owners Group Secretary General Manjurul Alam Chowdhury Monju inaugurated the program on Monday afternoon at Hathazari Bus Stand premises with the overall cooperation of Chittagong Road Transport Owners Group and Chittagong Regional Workers Federation under the management of Civil Surgeon's Office.
He said that under the direction of the Prime Minister, 500 workers will be vaccinated at Hathazari bus stand and workers will be vaccinated at 6 terminals including Bahaddarhat, Kadamtali, Shubhapur and Alankar in phases.
Chattogram Nazirhat Khagrachhari Bus Owners Association Joint Secretary Faruk Khan, Zafar Alam, Air Mohammad, Munna, Ali Haider, Zahirul Anwar, Labor leader Jasim, Md. Harun and leaders of the Owners and Workers Federation were present in the inauguration of vaccination to transport workers yesterday.
