Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy celebrates PM’s birthday

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy arranged a round
of programmes to celebrate the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 76th birthday
yesterday, said a press release.  A programme titled ‘Sabujer Buke Manobotar Jononi’ took place with the inauguration
of a portrait of the Prime Minister along with a fun art camp for children. The event continued from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
A special discussion and cultural programme commenced at the National Music and Dance Auditorium at 6:00pm yesterday.
Renowned cultural personalities alongside promising speakers were present at the discussion segment.
The cultural programme showcased beautiful music and dance performances by the children.
Bhawaiya and Baul songs were also performed by the BSA artistes at the programme. Therefore, an exhibition honouring the life and activities of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina began at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh, which will continue till October 4.
