Industry, Trade Fair inaugurate

A month-long Trade and Industry Fair organized by Rangpur Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has started in Rangpurat the Cricket Garden Ground  on Sunday. Divisional Commissioner Sabirul Islam inaugurated the fair.Among others,  Rangpur Metropolitan Police Additional Police Commissioner Saifuzzaman Faruqi, DC Asib Ahsan, Metropolitan Chamber President Rezaul Islam Milan, BCB Director Adv. Anwarul Islam, Metropolitan Chamber Director Sabbir Ahmed along with Chamber leaders were present there. Stalls of products produced by local entrepreneurs are available there . There are 120 stalls of various products including clothes, cosmetics, furniture, toys in this fair. Apart from this, various attractive rides have been arranged for the children.
 
Two minor boys drowned

Two minor boys died after drowning in a pond at Madhyapara village under Gopalpur union of Badarganj upazila on Saturday afternoon. The deceased children were identified as Moniruzzaman Babu, 6, son of Mustafizur Rahman and Vijay Babu, 4, son of Anarul Haque of the same village," Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badarganj police station Md. Habibur Rahman said. Beyond the knowledge of their parents, the boys went to bath in the pond next to their houses when they drowned in water. "

Memorandum given to DC, Nilphamari

Saidpur (Nilphamari ) Correspondent

A memorandum has been given to DC Nilphamari  as well as a  human chain was  formed in Nilphamari in order to protest the transfer of the short courses of 360 hours or 3/6months under Bangladesh Technical Education Board to National Skill Development Authorities. In conjunction with all over the country, this protest was also held in Nilphamari on Sunday in Chowrongee Point and in front of DC office.  The Director of every Short Course Institutes within the District was present there and delivered their speecahes. The whole programme was conducted by Meharunnisa, Director of Little Flower Institute of Professional Studies.
