On the occasion of the holy month
of Ramzan, Azizur Rahman Foundation distributed Iftar items
to local needy families. ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, President
of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway Ministry,
was present as the chief guest at the iftar distribution ceremony at Haji Para of Raozan Pouro sadar.
Alhaj Mohammad Shahjahan Iqbal, Vice President of Upazila Awami League, chaired the foundation.
The chief guest said that if the rich people of the society come forward to help the poor people, no one will be in trouble. He urged the administration to increase market surveillance to control commodity prices during the holy month of Ramzan.
Upazila Chairman Ehechanul Haidar Chowdhury Babul, Municipal Mayor Zamir Uddin Parvez, Executive Officer Abdus Samad Sikder, OC Abdullah Al Harun, Upazila Awami League Senior Vice President Anwarul Islam, Vice President Swapan Das Gupta, Panel Mayor Bashir Uddin Khan, Suman Dey, among others, were present on the occasion.
