Red Crescent, Ctg unit celebrates Bangabandhu’s 103rd birth anniversary

Elaborate programme was chalked out on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s
Day by Bangladesh,
Red Crescent Society, Chattogram District Unit with implementation of the Youth Red Crescent, Chattogram.
The day-long programme began auspiciously at the District Red Crescent grounds with a discussion and cutting a cake. The activities started with a discussion meeting highlighting the significance of the day and distribution of food among the children and cutting of the cake.
Chairman of Chattogram District Red Crescent and Zilla Parishad ATM Payarul Islam was present as the chief guest while Dr Sheikh Shafiul Azam, member of the management board of the society and vice chairman of the district Red Crescent unit, was present as a special guest on the occasion.
District Red Crescent Executive Council member Fakhrul Islam Chowdhury Parag was present as the guest of honor as District Red Crescent Secretary Md Aslam Khan, District Red Crescent Executive Council member Shahadat Hossain Rumel, Md Ismail Haque Chowdhury, Jamieson Red Crescent Maternity Hospital Director KF Rahman, Youth Red Crescent, Chittagong Youth Head Gazi Md Iftekar Hossain Imu, Hospital CMO Rozi Datta Biswas also attended the function.
