Smart students needed for smart B’desh: Nowfel

Farewell reception and annual prize distribution ceremony of SSC examinees of Abdul Hamid Saudagar High School of East Sholashar Ward was held on the school premises under the chairmanship of school president Mohammad Samsul Alam and conducted
by senior teacher Mohammad Jahangir Alam.
The chief guest was Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury. The main speaker was Deputy Minister of Education Ministry Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel MP. Ward councilor M Ashraful Alam was present as the special guest. Mohammad Manzoor Hossain, Engr Salim Ullah, Mohammad Abul Kalam, Humayun Kabir, Syed Kabedur Rahman Kochi, Selina Parveen, Mohammad Alamgir, Tushar Kanti Mallik, Abdul Mabud, among others, also spoke on the occasion.
The chief guest in his speech said that the government is playing a sincere role in improving the quality of education.
He called upon teachers to play a special role in building smart students in building Smart Bangladesh.
The Deputy Minister of Education called on the students to provide leadership in building Smart Bangladesh.
Nowfel said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced to build a smart Bangladesh; the young generation should be made skilled and competent.
