Ctg Railway Station to sell Eid tickets from April 7

03 April 2023

Chattogram Bureau :
Chattogram Railway Station Master Zafar Alam said Eid tickets will be
sold 10 days in advance from April 7. On Sunday morning, he confirmed
the advance ticket sales information.
He said, “Eid tickets will be sold 10 days in advance from April 7. Tickets for the 15th will go on sale on the 7th, tickets for the 16th will go on sale on the 8th. In this way advance tickets of 10 days will be sold in stages. This time, since 100 per cent of the tickets have been announced to be sold online, the stations will not be as crowded as before. Passengers do not have to wait at night.”
Regarding the addition of new coaches, he said that extra coaches will be added in every train for the people who are homebound on Eid. However, “We have not received the schedule yet. About 13 to 14 thousand tickets will be sold daily from Chattogram to 10 intercity, mail and special trains with extra coaches. Only 10 intercity train tickets will be sold online. Tickets for other mail trains and special trains will be sold at the counter,” he also said.
Every year on Eid, hundreds of passengers stay at the station from the night before and a day or two before Eid for advance train tickets.
Now the passengers will be saved from that irony and suffering.
