05 April 2023

Chattogram Bureau :
The authorities have taken the initiative to

Authorities also said that the conversion process of the new ward on the ground floor of the hospital will start next week.
Those concerned say that if the number of ICUs increases, the bed crisis will be solved on the one hand, as well as the services for critically ill patients will also increase. Also no more deaths due to lack of ICU beds.
It is learned that the authorities have taken the initiative to set up the new ICU ward in the former psychiatric ward behind the fair price drug store located on the ground floor of CMC Hospital.
All activities in this regard have been completed earlier. The process to convert the ward into an ICU ward will start from next week.
After the completion of all the activities starting from the infrastructure, the installation of ICU beds and other equipment including equipment will begin. However, the authorities are not sure when the new ICU beds will be available.
