Farjana Sumi coming to cinema as ‘Aator Bibi’

Farjana Sumi, the daughter of Nurul Islam and Mahfuza Parveen of Sirajganj, had the
talent to become an actress since childhood. That is why she was associated with a theatre troupe in Sirajganj. She also acted in theatre plays for that troupe. After getting matured, Farjana Sumi acted in dramas of Mainul Hasan Khokon, Mukim and several other directors. She also worked as a model
in advertisement. She first worked as a model in the advertisement of ‘Care Medical and Hospital’ directed by Sanjoy Raj.
Later, she became a model in several
more advertisements. She has recently modelled in a bulb ad directed by Uttam Akash. But acting in the movie was just
like the voice for her. First, she got the opportunity to act in the movies of talented directors like Apurba Rana with government grants. She played one of the main roles in movie 'Jolrong' directed by Apurba Rana. But in the meantime, she has signed a contract
to act in another movie directed by Mizanur Rahman Labu. Title of the movie is 'Aator Bibi.' Mizanur Rahman Labu will make the movie. Farjana Sumi will play the title role in the movie. This has been confirmed by
the director Apurba Rana who is in overall supervision of the movie 'Aator Bibi'.
Farjana Sumi told this correspondent about getting the opportunity to play the title role in the movie 'Aator Bibi', “A good actress is my dream. That’s why I have been involved in
acting since childhood. There have been breaks at various times for various reasons. There were breaks at various times for various reasons but I did not stop. I have thanks to Apurba Rana for giving me the opportunity to work in the movie 'Jolrong.' Also sincere gratefulness to respected Apurba Rana and respected Mizanur Rahman Labu Bhai for giving me the opportunity to play the title role in movie 'Aator Bibi'. I have already bought myself preparing to present myself as 'Aator Bibi'.” Director Apurba Rana informed that after the next Eid, the shooting of the movie will start after finalising all the remaining artistes.
