Main congregation at Nat’l Eidgah Five Eid congregations at Baitul Mukarram

The main Eid congregation to be held at National Eidgah at 8am on the day of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.  
VVIPs including the country's President will participate in this congregation.
Besides, five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr like the other years.
The Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals of Muslims might be held on Saturday or Sunday as per the moon sighting.
Islamic Foundation confirmed the Eid congregations'   schedule in a press release on Tuesday.
It said that the first Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat at Baitul Mukarram will be held at 7am which will be conducted by Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Senior Pesh Imam Hafiz Mufti Mawlana Mizanur Rahman. Later, the second third, fourth and last one will be held at at 8am, 9am, 10am and 10:45am.
Meanwhile, the main Eid congregation to be held at National Eidgah at 8am on the day of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
"We are expecting VVIPs including the president to participate in the National Eidgah Maidan this time," Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said it on Monday.
He said that the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises at 8am on the Eid day.
The decision was taken at a meeting headed by DSCC Mayor at Buriganga Hall of Nagar Bhaban on Monday afternoon.
In the meeting, Mayor Taposh said, "We are expecting VVIPs including the president to participate in the National Eidgah Maidan this time. Also, Dhaka residents spontaneously participate in the main Eid congregation. So, our aim is to make this arrangement flawless".
The representatives of Special Security Force (SSF) highlighted the security related issues.
