Mohammedan-Abahani match of Super League of DPL on May 1

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will face Dhaka Abahani Limited in their first match of the Super League of Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city's Mirpur on May 1.
The first phase (single league) of DPL came to an end on April 17. The cricketers will take a long recess for Eid-ul-Fitr. After the Eid vacation, the Super League and relegation matches will start.
A total of twelve teams took part in the first phase of the Dhaka Premier League. Six teams have qualified for the Super League.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Dhaka Abahani Limited, Legends of Rupganj, Prime Bank Cricket Club, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, Gazi Group Cricketers have got tickets of the Super League.
Shaikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited and Dhaka Abahani Limited gained 20 points each from their respective 11 matches. But Sheikh Jamal Dhanmodi Club Limited won against Dhaka Abahani Limited. As Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club limited have an advantage of head-to-head win so Sheikh Jamal have taken the top spot of the first phase of DPL. Dhaka Abahani Limited have taken the second position.
Legends of Rupganj have achieved the third position bagging 16 points from 11 matches.
Prime Bank Cricket Club have taken the fourth position collecting 14 points from 11 matches.
Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club have taken the fifth position gaining 13 points from 11 matches.
Gazi Group Cricketers have taken the sixth position earning 11 points from 11 matches. The Super League will come to an end on May 14.
Agrani Bank Cricket Club, Shinepukur Cricket Club and Dhaka Leopards will play in the relegation phase.
