Titas to suspend gas supply for days in different areas during Eid holidays

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited (TGTDCL) in a notice said that gas supply will remain suspended temporarily for 72 hours from midnight (12:01am) on April 23 (Sunday) to midnight on April 26 in different areas in Narayanganj and Rupganj due to emergency maintenance work in the existing gas transmission pipelines when the country will observe Eid holidays.
Meanwhile, the Titas gas authority has regretted for the temporary inconveniences due to suspension of gas supply during the period.
The areas which will be affected for gas supply include Japanese Economic Zone, Araihazar, Rupganj, Narayanganj areas,
Rupasi, Rupganj, Bhulta, Kanchan, Bhatpara, Murapara, Barpa, Tarabo, and Perabo, City Economic Zone, Meghna Energy, Summit Power, REB (Madhavadi), and City Sugar Industries, the TGTDCL circular said.
However, consumers in different adjoining areas including Araihajar, Madhavadi, Panchdona, Narayanganj, Fatulla, Shyampur, Kadmatoli, Keraniganj, Zinjira and in southern part of Dhaka city will experience low pressure in gas supply during the period, said the TGTDCL  authority regretting for the temporary inconveniences of gas supply.
The people will have to suffer for gas of the areas when they are spending Eid holidays.
